Proovyt Capture, the Chrome extension, records a click-through on the tab you choose. Each click becomes a step with a hotspot and a callout, and one recording holds up to 200 steps. Screenshots you already have work too. Drop, paste or pick image files and each one becomes a step.
On Pro and Team the extension can also record the page itself next to each screenshot. This is HTML capture, in beta. Typed text is never captured. Video capture is not available yet.
Walnut
Walnut's Chrome extension captures fully editable HTML and CSS, including published Figma Sites, and screenshot capture exists too. Screens that were never captured come from the Screens Library or a Figma or PowerPoint import.

Editing
Proovyt
Proovyt puts an edit layer on top of each screenshot. Blur, replace text, change a number, add a label or a highlight, on every plan including Free. Every edit can be undone, and blur is baked into the pixels when you publish or export.
On HTML capture steps, in beta, you can also replace, hide or blur any element's text. AI edits are not available yet.
Walnut
AI Mode rewrites text, finds and replaces across templates, turns text into variables such as company name, changes fonts, colors and spacing, blurs content and edits HTML tables and Highcharts or Chart.js charts. Walnut's help says it cannot generate entirely new screens, and image-based charts cannot be edited.
Global Edits apply an edit across a whole template and to newly added screens.
Walnut's editing is deeper inside HTML, with AI. Proovyt edits text and numbers on images too.

Branding
Proovyt
The brand kit, from Creator at $35 a month, holds your logos, colors and fonts. Every demo linked to the kit picks up a change, published and embedded ones included, with nothing to republish.
Every demo opens with an intro card and closes with an end card whose buttons send the viewer somewhere next. Free demos carry a small Made with Proovyt badge, and every paid plan removes it. Custom domains are not available yet and are coming to Pro.

Share a hosted link, paste an embed, or download one self-contained HTML file that plays in any browser, from Creator. Republishing keeps the link, and publishing copies only the screenshots the demo uses, with blur baked in.
Pro, at $79 a month, adds password-protected links, expiring links and lead capture. Branching and CRM integrations are not available yet.
Walnut
Walnut has sandbox and hybrid demos, playlists, Interactive Deal Rooms since July 2025, and the Walnut Xpert agent that answers buyer questions inside a demo since September 2026.
Walnut shares into deal rooms with agents. Proovyt shares a link, an embed or an HTML file you own, with protected links on Pro.

Every plan shows view counts. From Creator you also see unique viewers, completion rate and drop-off by step, for hosted links and embeds. Pro adds per-viewer analytics with CSV export.
Hosted pages and embeds set no cookies, and analytics store no IP addresses.

Walnut has InsightsAI. Walnut claims Xpert sessions more than double buyer time, which is its own claim.
